Specialized S-Works SL4 Custom Builds

January 23, 2014

S-Works framesets sit atop the Specialized spectrum as the flagship range of an almighty brand. The Tarmac, Roubaix and Venge models cater for every type of road riding one could possibly think of taking on; be it the rolling roads of England, alpine cols of France or cobblestones of Belgium.

As a gesture of appreciation to this elite group of bikes, we’ve compiled a concise array of custom build offerings to satisfy every eventuality. Dura Ace, Ultegra, Di2, mechanical, 3T Pro, Mavic Ksyrium and Cosmic Carbone; seven components which put together in the right order, on the right bike, has produced some exceedingly good bikes, at much reduced prices.

We’ve broken down the S-Works SL4 range into four categories: Dura-Ace Di2, Dura-Ace 9000, Ultegra Di2 and Ultegra 6800, and each of the three models (Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix) are available as a build with each groupset.

All of the Ultegra options come with Mavic Ksyrium Elite S wheelsets, whereas the Dura-Ace builds come with Ksyrium SLS (apart from the Venge Dura-Ace models – they come with Cosmic Carbones for that extra aero advantage!)

The builds come with a 3T Pro bar and stem duo across the board, as do they with a Specialized Romin Expert saddle and Easton bar tape.

That leaves just one factor to be accounted for; colour. Specialized offer each frame in a host of colourways, which you can navigate around by clicking the ‘See Full Specification’ box at the bottom of the item listing, and following the links to the various frame options. Subject to availability on the frame, you can then build your custom bike from the ground up.
