Bringing a brand-new, game-changing ride to the racing scene, Cervélo's newest P-Series is quite something. The P-Series bike has been designed for the athlete that is looking to further there racing and ultimately themselves, through mind, body and equipment. The frame featured on the new P-Series benefits from many years of research and designing that comes from Cervélo's engineers who have created bikes such as the P5, P5x and P3x. More advanced than the P3, Cervélo has changed up the aerodynamics to bring you a new design that features a closer cutout between the rear wheel and frame to prevent unnecessary wind resistance and drag effect. When you're out competing over a long course or even short course event, you're well aware of just how important hydration. That's why, as standard, Cervélo's P-Series bikes have been fitted with all of the following: 400ml of fluid storage in the top tube, an already integrated rear hydration mount and a 500ml aero water bottle to ensure you are fully covered to keep you out racing at the top of your game. The P-Series range continues to reduce drag through optimizing tube shapes, making the bike lighter for climbs and stiffer for faster descents. Cervélo has fitted the P-Series with disc brakes that not only provide you with fast-acting and efficient stopping power but also boost the aerodynamics of the bike. Finally, equipped with Shimano's 105 groupset and 11-speed shifting, you can rest assured you've got reliable and efficient control at your fingertips to help you tear up that bike course.
A “no excuses” machine makes going your fastest a foregone conclusion. The new P-Series is stiffer, lighter and more aero than the P3, meaning it’s faster than the P3. But, Cervélo knows speed isn’t everything - it’s also designed to flex to each individual athlete. The rider has the ability to customise the fit, cockpit and ride experience.
Whether your challenge is a long course or sprint event, P-Series comes equipped to carry the load. With a 500ml aero water bottle, 400ml of top-tube storage, and an integrated rear hydration mount as standard equipment, no opportunity to help the Cervélo athlete's win races, is ignored.
Collapsing the assumption that narrow is aero, the new P-Series leverages all that Cervélo learned during the legendary P5 development, to deliver a platform that is not only stiffer and lighter than its predecessor but also boasts lower drag. It climbs better, corners naturally and is faster in every application.
