Specialized Roubaix Pro Road Bike

Specailized's world renonwed Roubaix now has seven Paris-Roubaix titles to it's name and the latest model launched is set to continue this unmatched winning streak. Proving time and time again that smooth is fast, the new Roubaix frame features a FACT 10r carbon layup to provide a compliant base that won't be making any compromises, being both super light in weight as well as taking on an effectively aerodynamic design. Using Specialized's FreeFoil shaping library, the Roubaix features new tube shapes that were tested and researched in the Win Tunnel and resulted in a new Roubaix that's more aerodynamic than the Tarmac SL6. To optimise frame stiffness and ridgidty, allowing for a efficient power transfer when you're pushing the pace, Specialized utilised their Rider-First Engineered™ design once again to bring you a bike that not only rides fast and handles swiftly but is also comfortable when you're racking up the mileage. The new Roubaix frame has recently been altered to now take tyres with a width of up to and including 33mm, ready for your own Hell of the North race. Specialized's famous Future Shock 2.0 has been integrated within the Roubaix Pro, allowing you to ride smoother and faster and with more control than ever before thanks to an inbuilt damper system fitted atop of the stem. The lastest Roubaix features a newly developed S-Works Pavé seatpost that focuses on being aerodynamic whilst also compliant without adding any weight overall. Finally, to finish of a true high performance bike, Specialized equipped the Roubaix Pro with simply the best, starting with a SRAM Force eTAP AXS 12-speed groupset to provided the best shifting possible all the way to super light weight Roval Alpinist CL carbon wheels for an unstoppable fast paced ride.

The New Roubaix

With seven wins at Paris-Roubaix, Specialized's Roubaix has proven that Smoother is Faster. Until this moment, however, smooth has admittedly come with some compromises. But not anymore. The all-new Roubaix Pro now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing a radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control and damping options, a new Pavé seatpost that creates our most balanced Roubaix to date, aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that’s shed some serious weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don’t call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision we made. This is the new Roubaix.

Equipped For Performance

The build on this Roubaix Pro goes as all out with a focus on getting every ounce of performance possible for your money. It features the superlative SRAM Force eTAP AXS 12-speed build kit you’ve probably been reading about, lightweight Roval Alpinist CL carbon wheels, Specialized's all-new S-Works Pavé seatpost, S-Works carbon Hover bars, and Specialized's fan-favorite Power Pro saddle.

Fact 10r Carbon Frame

The new frame delivers compliance without compromise via the perfect balance of aerodynamics, light overall weight via a FACT 10r carbon construction, compliance, and Rider-First Engineering. With tube shapes that were born in Specialized's FreeFoil Shape Library and validated in the Win Tunnel, the new Roubaix is more aero than the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure the weight and ride quality, Specialized turned to a Rider-First Engineered™ design to deliver optimal stiffness and compliance across all sizes, from 44 to 64cm. Of course, the frame has shed some serious weight in the process. And to prep you for your own Hell of the North, Specialized has made room for 33mm tyres.
