The Stumpjumper was born in the 80's as the first ever production mountain bike and has since provided explosive speed, unmatched handling and unrivalled technology. The redesigned Turbo Levo takes the benefits from all the years of research and design put into the Stumpjumper and added a kick of power that allows you to reach heights never achieved before. With a fresh motor that is now 15% smaller and 11% lighter as well as a battery that provides 700wh of power that provides 40% more capacity and range, the Turbo Levo looks more alike to the MTB we have all come to know and love than ever before. The S-Works model, however, comes into its very own category thanks to the way in which Specialized kitted it out with the finest carbon components, SRAM X01 groupset and Fact 11m carbon fibre frameset, one of the most competitive carbon grades currently available on the market. Finally, Specialized 29er geometry ensures comfort and speed whilst in the saddle with 150mm of travel front and rear that is adjustable with Fox's finest 36 fork and float factory rear suspension.
Premium Carbon Quality
The S-Works Turbo Levo FSR frame is constructed entirely of FACT 11m carbon fibre, making it not only lightweight but also remarkably stiff and responsive. The design includes Specialized's 29 Trail Geometry that includes a low bottom bracket, lengthy top tube, and short chainstays. Kinematics of the frame have also been perfected, along with rider-tuned stiffness. Cable routing is all internal, including that of the Command Post IR, while the battery is fully integrated into the down tube, while the minimalist motor is mounted in a more secure, lighter way.
The custom Specialized 2.1 Rx Trail-tuned motor is more efficient, 15% smaller, and 11% lighter than its predecessor. This successfully places it at the top of e-bike motor technology. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gearbox when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.
This Turbo’s new Specialized M2-series battery features a 500Wh capacity. And, of course, still seamlessly integrated inside the frame and is easily removable, too.
