The Specialized Sirrus has long been know as the "go-to" bike in the hybrid category. By introducing the Sirrus X Specialized broaden the range and promise to offer greater levels of comfort and versatility. Suitable for both established commuters and new riders, this new version of the Sirrus has the added benefit of flirting with the opportunity to do some light gravel riding. With a striking and lightweight aluminium frame and fork which is equipped with internal cable routing and all the fixings required for mudguards and racks the bike retains all of the practicality of the original Sirrus. However, the Sirrus X 3.0 introduces riders to the option of riding gravel with its 42mm tyres and 1x10 speed Shimano Deore groupset, which offers as much range of gears through its 11-42 cassette as traditional 2x or 3x setups, but with more efficiency, less weight and less maintenance. This evolution of the Sirrus truly is a do-everything, go-anywhere commutor.
The Sirrus X
Sirrus X is an inspiring bike that encourages you to get out and ride. It's a commuter that will take you to places you never imagined possible. It's a comfortable, capable, bike that's perfect around town and on light gravel or offroad. With bigger, confidence-inspiring tyres, a slightly more upright riding position, a super intuitive one-by drivetrain, and plenty of mounts for racks and fenders —it's more than just a solid partner on the pavement. The Sirrus X is also equipped with next-level comfort from Specialized's scientifically tested and ergonomically engineered Shared Platform Body Geometry saddle, handgrips, and pedals.
Featuring a lightweight A1 Alloy frame with clean internal cable routing, 3.5lbs (1.7kg) lighter than Specialized's Crosstrail Hydro model. You'll experience maximum control through hyper intuitive shifting with 1x10 wide-range gearing, and powerful hydraulic disc brakes. You'll float over the rough stuff with fast-rolling Specialized Pathfinder 42c tyres featuring proprietary Gripton rubber compound.
