Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Alloy Mountain Bike

Specialized's Stumpjumper Comp Alloy is ready to rock the trails with an all-new design. The Stumpjumper comp features one of the most advanced alloy frames that has ever been developed. The Comp Alloy may be a metal frame but it sure doesn't stick to the stereotype of alloy = heavy, hell no! The Stumpjumper sets the bar for trail bikes and it sure sets that bar high. When designing the new Stumpjumper, Specialized created a bike that excels on any kind of trail, no matter the rider's style. Doing this meant Specialized persuade some serious weight cuts whilst ensuring no durability or rigidity was lost, ensuring the Stumpjumper maintained it's reputation of a responsive, light and lively ride that'll boost anyone's riding ability. Featuring 130mm of travel with FOX FLOAT DPS Performance shock allows you to hit that sweet spot thanks to numerous hours of suspension lab development and field testing that resulted in a refined mid-travel ripper that tears up big terrain like a true beast. Specialized deisgned the new Stumpjumper with S-Sizing geometry that's long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle to increase your stability, allow you to climb more comfortable and just move more smoothly in general. FlipChip adjustability enables you to fine tune your specific fit to allow your new Stumpjumper to feel tailor-made just for you. Equipped with a SRAM NX Eagle 1x groupset that ensures you have crisp, clean and reliable shifting all ride long. And finally, Specialized's Rider-First Engineered™ technology allows each frame to be size-specific so that the Stumpjumpers high performance capability is maintained across the board, no matter the size of the rider.

The Trail Benchmark

When Specialized set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, they pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, Specialized went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone’s riding, and the best suspension kinematics they know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.

130mm Travel

Specialized massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor.

Progressive Geometry

The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It’s long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you’re able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose.

Rider-First Engineered™

Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensure benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you’re a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you’ll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, Specialized means real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock).
