The wait is over. The performance electronic road bike is here and it is here to stay. Introducing Specialized's Turbo Creo SL Expert road bike, leaps and bounds ahead of any e-bike that has ever existed before. Let's start with the frame. The FACT 11r carbon fibre is the same top of the range quality carbon that is used on the S-Works model allowing you to pedal faster for longer, increasing battery life and outperforming the weight of every other e-bike by multiple kilograms. Now time for the Motor. The brand-new SL 1.1 motor takes all Specialized's experience from their previous Turbo models and betters it, leaving you with as much as 240watts of road inspiring power that makes sickening hill climbs and motivation lacking headwinds seem like an absolute breeze (no pun intended). Worried about range? - Don't be. *The battery life of the Creo can last up to 80 miles on its own and a further 40 miles with the help of an optional range extender which sits subtly in your rear bottle cage. The Mission Control app and onboard Turbo Connect unit let you know how much you've got left in the tank as well as all the facts and figures of your ride so far. Specialized ensure things are kept smooth with their groundbreaking Future Shock suspension system 2.0 which allows you to turn 20mm of handlebar comfort on and off when British roads let you down. Throw in a power meter, built into the motor, to the equation, which is compatible with ANT+, and you can not only keep track of the hard work you're putting in but also know how to better it for next time! Finally, a geometry that fits males as well as it does females thanks to market-leading research and our trained in-store fitters as well as a Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain that makes shifting as futuristic as the rest of the bike and you're are on your way to a revolutionary new way to ride your bike with nothing holding you back.
Electric Road Bike Performance
Specialized's Creo SL range paves the future of electronic road bike performance with a bike that is literally kilograms lighter than even the closest of competition and enough technology to last you until the end of the century. Specialized started with the frame based on years of world championship-winning designs which results in the Creo SL featuring the speed of the Venge, the comfort of the Roubaix and the power of its very own heritage.
The SL Motor + Power Meter
Every true race car begins with its engine and the Creo SL is no different. The brand-new SL 1.1 motor takes the years of experience that Specialized has with their Turbo range and betters it with as much as 240watts of road jamming power to speed you through tricky hill climbs, gut-busting headwinds and fast-paced group rides. The Motor also features an ANT+ compatible power meter helping to educate you about the power you're putting in and the training effect you're getting.
Worried about Range?
Don't be. The Creo's motor connects with the Specialized Mission Control phone app to give you all the data you need about distance, mileage and power. The motor also connects to the onboard Turbo Connect Unit which gives you the facts about how much you've got left in the tank. The motor is capable of up to 80 miles and a further 40 miles thanks to the optional range extender which sits subtly in your rear water bottle mount - clever 'ey?
Suspension Systems from the Future
If you've been keeping up to date with your spring classic you will have noticed the Roubaix's Future Shock 2.0 suspension system. This technology features 20mm of handlebar give which removes the imperfections from the road not only making your ride smoother and ultimately faster but reducing the fatigue of the rider also.
It's NOT about Gender
Forget about Male and Female specific bikes from yesteryear. Specialized have carried out market-leading research that concludes there's as much difference in two male riders geometry's than there are between the opposite sexes. It's about having a geometry that can encompass all shapes and sizes whilst still handling like a dream and being comfortable enough for big days out in the saddle. It's also about having Specialized trained in-store fitters that can size you up and fit you onto your next bike and this is at the forefront of every bike sale at the TriStore.
