The Expert is really where the Turbo Levo comes into its own. Specialized swapped out M5 alloy for Fact 9 carbon fibre that sheds a load of weight and also boosts stiffness and responsive levels. It's worth noting the rear triangle remains alloy, which helps to keep costs down and provides well-need stability. The M2-series battery increases the motor's range by a staggering 40%, meaning you can go faster for longer all whilst keeping up to date with your battery's levels through the Mission Control App and the built-in Turbo Connect Unit. Specialized's updated 2.1 trail-tuned motor is more compact, more powerful and even quiter than its predecessor, ensuring no other e-bike can compare in performance. The upgraded, Fox 36, forks allows you to personalise front suspension to your preference through the 3-position adjustment tool. Finally, components such as SRAM's 4-piston calliper hydraulic disc brakes and 1-by groupset mean shifting and braking is further enhanced for the ultimate trail-riding experience.
Turbo Connect Unit
The Levo’s Turbo Connect Unit (or “TCU”) is more than an “On-Off” button—it’s the brains of the bike. The TCU shows your battery level and power-assist mode. It also communicates, via ANT+/Bluetooth®, with Specialized's optional handlebar display to provide you with even more information about your day’s ride.
40% Extra Range
This Turbo’s new Specialized M2-series battery features a 700Wh capacity, which increases your range by a staggering 40%. Specialized integrated the battery seamlessly inside the frame and made it easy to remove with a single hex wrench.
The custom Specialized 2.1 motor represents the pinnacle of e-bike motor technology. The new motor is more efficient, 15% smaller, and 11% lighter than its predecessor. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gearbox when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.
