The Rail 9 is Trek's top alloy e-MTB bike that's also fitted with long-travel suspension and technology that takes it's performance to a whole other level. Firstly, with Trek's Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame you're provided with a base that's not only light but is also extremely durable and reliable. The battery featured on the Rail 9 is completely encased within the frame and provides 625 Wh. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor provides up to 25km/h assist as well as featuring a Purion controller. The new motor has been designed to allow for a more natural feel when pedalling by having less drag and being more efficient overall on a single battery charge. For the downhill trail thrill, the Rail 9 has been fitted with a RockShox Lyrik Select Plus fork that provides a 160mm of travel along with a RockShox Deluxe RT3 shock which provides rear travel of 150mm that works in harmony with Trek's Re:aktiv Thru Shaft that'll provide a faster shock than normal as it stays in tune and tracks the ground better, giving you more control. With a 1x12 SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and Shimano SLX 4-piston brakes you've got both reliable shifting and braking to keep the adventure going for longer. And finally, the Rail 9 is also fitted with a Bontrager Line Elite dropper post and Bontrager Line Comp 30 29er wheels with Bontrager SE5 Team Issue tyres, ready to tackle the trails.
