Quarq was founded in 2006, established its factory in Spearfish, South Dakota (USA) in 2007, and shipped its first power meter in June 2008. In 2013 Quarq were the most popular power meter at the Ironman World Championships - a testament to the build quality, reliability and accuracy of the devices
